About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the Hertfordshire Pest Experts website and any quote, booking or treatment you arrange with us. By using the site or booking a service you agree to them.

Information on this site

Guidance on pests, treatments and prevention is provided in good faith for general information. It is not a substitute for an on-site inspection. Our on-page AI assistant can make mistakes — always confirm anything important with us directly before acting on it.

Quotes & bookings

Prices given on the site or by phone are guide prices and may change after we see the site. A booking is confirmed once we've agreed a date and the scope of work in writing (email, text or message).

Your responsibilities

• Give us safe access to the treatment area at the agreed time.
• Follow any preparation or aftercare instructions we provide.
• Tell us about pets, children, vulnerable adults or known allergies.

Bed bug heat treatment preparation

You must carry out the preparation instructions we provide before the day of treatment. If we arrive on the morning of the appointment and find that preparations have not been completed to our satisfaction, we reserve the right to refuse to carry out the job. In this case, a cancellation fee of 20% of the quoted price will be charged and must be paid on the spot.

Cancellations

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Late cancellations or missed visits may be charged.

Guarantees

Where a treatment is offered with a guarantee, the terms are set out on your job paperwork. Guarantees rely on the preparation and aftercare advice being followed.

For our 6-month bed bug heat treatment guarantee, if you believe the treatment was not successful you must provide time-stamped video evidence of live bed bugs before we will return for a follow-up visit. This helps us verify genuine residual activity and dispatch the right resources.

Liability

We are fully insured for the work we carry out. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for issues caused by failure to follow our instructions. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
