How we work
Every job follows the same sequence, whether it is a single mouse in a Harpenden kitchen or a whole-property bed bug programme in Watford.
The sequence, start to finish
- 1
Enquiry and triageSame day
We establish the species, the property, how long it has been going on and whether anyone vulnerable is affected. This decides urgency, not a call-centre script.
- 2
SurveyVisit one
A physical inspection of the affected areas and the routes into them. We look for the source, not just the sighting.
- 3
FindingsAt the property
You are shown what we found and where. Photographs are taken at the time.
- 4
Treatment planBefore any work
A written plan setting out what will be treated, with what, what preparation is needed and what the realistic outcome is.
- 5
Treatment
Carried out to the plan, with products applied at label rates in the places the survey identified.
- 6
Proofing
Entry points are closed where that is what stops the problem returning. Where proofing is outside our remit, we say so plainly.
- 7
Follow-up
Return visits where the treatment type requires them, with monitoring in place between visits.
- 8
Service recordAfter each visit
A signed, time-stamped record of what was found, what was done and what happens next.
What we will not do
- Treat without identifying the species first
- Leave loose rodenticide anywhere on a property
- Quote a heat treatment without knowing the room count and layout
- Promise a single-visit result where the biology says otherwise
- Remove an active bird nest, which is an offence
Common questions
- Do you survey before quoting?
- For anything beyond a straightforward wasp nest, yes. A survey is what makes the plan and the price honest.
- How quickly can you attend?
- Same-day and next-day appointments are usually available across Hertfordshire. Urgency is triaged at the enquiry stage.
