Professional service records

Every visit produces a record. It is signed, time-stamped, and detailed enough to satisfy a landlord, an environmental health officer or an insurer.

What every record contains

  • Property, date, arrival and departure times
  • Species identified and the evidence it was identified from
  • Areas inspected, including areas found clear
  • Products used, quantities, and exact placements
  • Temperature data where a heat treatment was carried out
  • Photographs taken during the visit
  • Preparation or access issues that affected the work
  • Recommendations, proofing advice and the next scheduled action
  • Technician name and customer sign-off

Who asks for these

Landlords and letting agents use them to demonstrate that a reported infestation was dealt with properly. Commercial premises use them for audits and for environmental health. Householders use them when a managing agent or insurer needs proof.

Because the record is written at the property and signed there, it holds up when it is later relied on.
